Winter’s Turkey Farm Branding
I’m so excited to finally be sharing these images, they are long past due. Winter’s Turkey Farm is a family near and dear to my heart. I grew up just down the road from their farm, and their turkeys have been part of our holiday traditions for as long as I can remember. Getting to document their family and farm since 2020 has been such a full circle gift.
Mo’ Knits Personal Branding
Working with Mo’ Knits for these branding subscription sessions was a joy from start to finish - from capturing the beautiful textures of her handmade pieces to highlighting the warmth and personality behind the brand. These images bring Mo’ Knits’ story to life with how much love and heart she pours into her products. I loved creating imagery that feels authentic, cohesive, and ready to elevate her online presence.
Lisa’s Homestead Family Session
This session was truly one of my dreams come to life. Earlier last year, I shared a few bucket list sessions I hoped to photograph and a homestead session was at the very top of that list. When Lisa reached out to nominate her family, I instantly knew they were the perfect fit. We spent the evening wandering their beautiful property — the place where they garden, keep bees, raise their babies, and build a life rooted in homemade simplicity.
Innova Psychology Branding
I recently had the opportunity to photograph a branding session for Innova Psychology. Innova Psychology is a Calgary-based practice that recently underwent a rebrand and I was honoured to take their updated headshots. Creating branding imagery for a psychology practice carries a special responsibility, and it was important to me that these photos felt calm, confident, and welcoming for both current and future clients.
Nathan + Rebecca Kananaskis Engagement
Some sessions just feel light and easy from the beginning, and Nathan and Rebecca’s engagement session in Kananaskis was exactly that. We met on a summer evening surrounded by mountains, soft light, and that classic Kananaskis landscape that makes everything slow down a little. No pressure, just the two of them hanging out together while I played third wheel - classic Miranda.
How to Prepare for Your Branding Session
If you have landed on this page, it means you are either considering a personal branding session or you have already booked one. My goal here is to educate and make a personal branding session seem a little less daunting. This blog post is a long time coming. I have been wanting to do a big post of how to prepare for your personal branding session for awhile now to help educate clients and important things to keep in mind when preparing for your own sessions.
Renn’s Lifestyle Newborn Session
I visited Renn and her LOVELY parents in their beautiful boho-inspired home for her newborn session. Cozy textures, lots of plants and tons of light filled the room. Baby Renn fit perfectly into the calm, zen feeling of their home. In-home newborn sessions are always relaxed and baby led. There’s no rush, no pressure for perfection and just documenting what life looks like right now. The way her parents held her, watched her, and soaked in every moment made it clear how deeply loved she already is.
Spring Family Paint Session
We laid out a simple white sheet in the middle of tall summer grass, brought out a few soft, earthy tones of paint, and let the rest unfold naturally. What started as careful brush strokes quickly turned into laughter, splattered jeans, paint-covered toes and the kind of joy you can’t script. I love sessions like this - where parents let go, kids lead the way, and everyone leaves a little messier but a whole lot more connected. These are the moments that feel like childhood. Honest, playful, and beautifully imperfect.
Flora + Faux Floral Artist Branding
Some sessions leave you creatively refilled, this was one of them. Stepping into her space felt like entering a world built on intention. Soft florals, warm neutrals, hands moving gently and confidently through each arrangement. Every detail was thoughtful. Every stem placed with purpose. It was less about creating content and more about documenting craft in its truest form.
Vancouver Island Roadtrip
Last October, I ran a half marathon in Ucluelet and turned it into a full family road trip from Calgary to Vancouver Island.
Running started as a way to support myself after losing my mom, and over time it became something I genuinely love. So signing up for a race along the coast felt like the perfect goal to work toward.
We packed up our boys, drove through the mountains, caught the ferry, and made our way to the island. October in Ucluelet and Tofino is cool, quiet and incredibly beautiful. Misty mornings, rain storms, ocean views and towering trees - not a bad race backdrop. Don’t ask me about the hills though… haha
Lauryn + Taylor Engagement + Wedding
Their engagement session was wild and carefree, tucked into the tall grass with the river humming nearby. The kind of evening that feels like summer bottled up forever. And then months later, surrounded by their people at Cochrane Ranch House, they promised forever with teary eyes, tight hand squeezes, and the sweetest in-between glances.
Getting to document both chapters - the quiet before and the celebration after - is never something I take lightly. Watching love grow is the best kind of story telling.
KeraMikk Pottery
Photographing this pottery branding session felt like stepping into a space I’ve quietly admired for years. An artist whose work I’ve followed, supported, dreamed of — finally trusting me to document the hands behind the craft. It’s hard to put into words what that means. Her craft is layered with intention. Earth-toned clay. Colourful intentionally created pieces. Happiness in a mug. There’s something sacred about watching someone create and about seeing the focus, the repetition, the quiet confidence that only comes from years of devotion to a craft.
Sydney + Braden Fall Wedding
These two didn’t just promise forever to each other, they did it with their one-year-old son tucked into the story of the day. Watching them hold hands with him between them, stealing kisses while he played nearby, felt like witnessing the very heart of why we celebrate love in the first place. This wasn’t just the start of a marriage. It was the honouring of a family already beautifully in motion.
Kaitlyn + Aaron Western River Valley Engagement
There’s something about the river valley — the way the wind moves through the grass, the sound of boots against gravel, the sun dipping low behind the hills — that just feels like home. This western-inspired engagement session was equal parts wild and tender. Slow dances in the tall grass. Dust on denim. Quiet forehead touches between laughter. The kind of love that doesn’t need posing — just space to breathe.
Danielle + Dustin’s Chestermere Wedding
I’m so excited to share a few teaser images from Danielle + Dustin’s wedding, held on her parents’ property near Chestermere Lake - the home she grew up in. It was the perfect backyard wedding, meaningful in the best ways and filled with so much heart. From getting ready inside the family home, her dad driving her to the isle in his restored vehicle to celebrating under open skies, every part of the day felt relaxed, personal, and connected to their story.
Kayla + Lucas Studio Maternity
A few favourites from this sweet little studio maternity session. There’s just something about keeping it simple. Soft light. Bare walls. No distractions. Just a mama in that in-between season, waiting, glowing, carrying so much more than just a baby.
The Kuwintas Co Branding
Last spring I had the opportunity to work with The Kuwintas Co Jewelry for their branding photography. I was very excited to photograph something new, as I have yet to have a jewlery maker as a client. I quickly realized how tricky photographing jewelry was due to the reflection and how small/finicky the pendents were to work with. I loved the challenge and getting to be creative with this product. The Kuwintas Co supplied an abundance of props for me to work with that align with their brand which was fun to mix it up! I picked a few of my favs from our session together.
Georgia Lifestyle Newborn
One of my absolute favourite newborn sessions this year. I love everything about this sweet family and their little bond together. I have photographed them since they were newly engaged to married to their first maternity and fast forward into their second newborn. We have created so many memories together over the years and it is always such an honour to be welcomed back into their lives. Their nursery theme was Peach for their little Georgia Peach. It was the sweetest.
