There’s something special about being trusted to help visually tell the next chapter of a brand and this session with Crawford Street Skincare was exactly that. This shoot marked a full rebrand for the Toronto based company (eek pinch me moment), and I truly couldn’t be more proud of the work we created together. From thoughtful product styling to capturing the clean, elevated feel behind their new direction, every detail was intentional in showcasing their brand.

I recently had the opportunity to photograph Adrienne for an updated set of branding headshots for her psychology practice. Branding sessions like this are always so much fun because they allow professionals to show a bit more personality while still creating polished, professional images for their business. Adrienne wanted images that felt warm, approachable and authentic - something that would help potential clients feel comfortable before stepping into her office.

Some clients become more than clients, they become part of the story of your business. Whitebull Clothing Co has been one of those relationships for me. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside Whitebull Clothing Co for the past four years, documenting the growth of their branding, boutique and the strong connections they focus on. Their commitment to empowering the women who shop the boutique, wear their clothing and support their dream is so inspiring.

For the past four years, I’ve had the honour of photographing this beautiful brand as it has grown, evolved, and continued to produce incredible bath products.. From new product launches to seasonal updates and fresh creative ideas, each session feels less like work and more like fun. One of my favourite parts of long-term brand photography is building consistency. Together we’ve created a visual library that reflects who they are. Thoughtful, intentional, and deeply connected to the products they create.

I’m so excited to finally be sharing these images, they are long past due. Winter’s Turkey Farm is a family near and dear to my heart. I grew up just down the road from their farm, and their turkeys have been part of our holiday traditions for as long as I can remember. Getting to document their family and farm since 2020 has been such a full circle gift.

Working with Mo’ Knits for these branding subscription sessions was a joy from start to finish - from capturing the beautiful textures of her handmade pieces to highlighting the warmth and personality behind the brand. These images bring Mo’ Knits’ story to life with how much love and heart she pours into her products. I loved creating imagery that feels authentic, cohesive, and ready to elevate her online presence.

I recently had the opportunity to photograph a branding session for Innova Psychology. Innova Psychology is a Calgary-based practice that recently underwent a rebrand and I was honoured to take their updated headshots. Creating branding imagery for a psychology practice carries a special responsibility, and it was important to me that these photos felt calm, confident, and welcoming for both current and future clients.

My goal here is to educate and make a personal branding session seem a little less daunting. This blog post is a long time coming. I have been wanting to do a big post of how to prepare for your personal branding session for awhile now to help educate clients and important things to keep in mind when preparing for your own sessions.

Some sessions leave you creatively refilled, this was one of them. Stepping into her space felt like entering a world built on intention. Soft florals, warm neutrals, hands moving gently and confidently through each arrangement. Every detail was thoughtful. Every stem placed with purpose. It was less about creating content and more about documenting craft in its truest form.

Photographing this pottery branding session felt like stepping into a space I’ve quietly admired for years. An artist whose work I’ve followed, supported, dreamed of — finally trusting me to document the hands behind the craft. It’s hard to put into words what that means. Her craft is layered with intention. Earth-toned clay. Colourful intentionally created pieces. Happiness in a mug. There’s something sacred about watching someone create and about seeing the focus, the repetition, the quiet confidence that only comes from years of devotion to a craft.

Last spring I had the opportunity to work with The Kuwintas Co Jewelry for their branding photography. I was very excited to photograph something new, as I have yet to have a jewlery maker as a client. I quickly realized how tricky photographing jewelry was due to the reflection and how small/finicky the pendents were to work with. I loved the challenge and getting to be creative with this product. The Kuwintas Co supplied an abundance of props for me to work with that align with their brand which was fun to mix it up! I picked a few of my favs from our session together.

For as long as I can remember, I have been pretty smitten with bars of soap but struggled to find some I truly loved and how they made my skin feel. I stumbled upon Suntree Soaps a few years ago and have been pretty hooked ever since. I love their products so so much and have been slowly trying many of them over the years. I have been wanting to photograph their products for awhile now and I’m so happy we finally did a branding session together.

Sharing a recent shoot I did for Bare Activewear in my new studio space. Such an amazing shoot with even more inspiring women surrounding me that day. Bare Activewear is a locally owned Calgary business who has the cutest activewear. Here are a few of my favourites from our shoot this past March.

This branding session is like branding session GOALS! Beautiful, bright and well styled location, thought out outfit planning and so much content creation happening. I loved my morning with the Panchuk Partners Realty mother daughter duo. We used the beautiful Stirling Homes show home in Legacy and it was the perfect location for this branding session.

I have known Renee for years now as we grew up in the same community, going to the same school and in the same art class in high school. Renee has always been incredibly talented and a huge inspiration to me with her artistic talent and love for so many of the same things as me. I have been dying to do a session with her since I started shooting branding sessions and when she asked me to come to her home studio, I knew it was going to be an amazing session. Her studio is cozy. Filled with all her beautiful work, many plants filling her space and so many hints of bees. Another interest we share with one another.

I have been shooting for White Bull Clothing Co for three months now, and before that time I didn’t realize how much I truly needed this community in my life. It is so much more than a clothing boutique, it is an experience and feeling apart of a community. Every time we shoot together I leave feeling inspired, full of life and my face hurts from laughing and smiling so much. Surrounding myself with like minded entrepreneurs, positive souls and inspiring women is what every one needs in their life. White bull shoot day is easily my favourite day of the week. I love being full creative freedom to shoot their gorgeous clothing in beautiful spaces. Here’s a few (hundred) favs from our last shoot together this past week.

I love photographing Nova Rae Candle Co products. I have been working with Ashley from this candle company for over year now. Her products are why I dipped into branding photography and realized how much I really loved it. It has been fun to see how her products have evolved as well as my photography of her products.
