KeraMikk Pottery
Photographing this pottery branding session felt like stepping into a space I’ve quietly admired for years. An artist whose work I’ve followed, supported, dreamed of — finally trusting me to document the hands behind the craft. It’s hard to put into words what that means.
Her craft is layered with love. Earth-toned clay. Colourful intentionally created pieces. Happiness in a mug. There’s something sacred about watching someone create and about seeing the focus, the repetition, the quiet confidence that only comes from years of devotion to a craft. There’s also something sacred about drinking a warm cup of coffee out of something so beautiful. It just tastes better?
Branding sessions like this are why I love what I do. They allow me to step into someone’s world and translate their passion into images that feel as intentional as the work itself. To photograph someone I’ve looked up to for so long? An honour. Truly.
