These sessions are custom to YOU. Let’s play. Laugh. Dance. Run bare foot through the dirt. Hike your favourite spot. Make waffles on a Sunday morning. And remember what life is all about, having fun. Lifestyle sessions can be a family or portrait session or a special event you want captured. I live for the candid, real- life moments that unfold right in front of our eyes. I will prompt and direct you, while photographing all the moments in between. These sessions can take place outdoors, indoors or in the comfort of your home. Let’s chat more and, create some magic.

Lifestyle Sessions FAQ

  • Our weather keeps us on our toes.

    I only cancel sessions in cases of heavy rain, extreme wind, blizzard conditions, or temperatures below -10°C. Snow or light showers? We’re still on, sometimes those are the most magical sessions.

    Because the forecast can shift every ten minutes, I won’t reschedule unless conditions are truly unsafe or severe warnings are issued.

  • All galleries will be delivered within 2-4 weeks of the session date unless we discuss otherwise.

  • ou will receive an email with a link to your private online gallery. Inside, you’ll find all of your high-resolution, print-ready images from the session.

    Your gallery will remain active for one year. After that time, it will expire, so please be sure to download and securely archive your images.

  • While I’ve yet to have a session where we couldn’t create something beautiful, it’s important to remember that children are wonderfully unpredictable - that’s simply part of photographing little humans.

    To set everyone up for success, please make sure your child is well-rested (if naps are still part of life) and has eaten before your session. And yes, I’m absolutely not opposed to a small treat or gentle bribery if that helps.

  • Once you’re booked, we’ll choose your location together. I have several favorite spots I use regularly because I know how they photograph and how the light moves there.

    If you have a location in mind, I’m absolutely open to it - as long as it fits my style and lighting needs.

  • I book my schedule well in advance, especially during peak season. Because of this, rescheduling within the same time period may not always be possible.

    I kindly require at least 24 hours’ notice for any rescheduling requests. I completely understand that illness and unforeseen circumstances can arise, and I will always do my best to accommodate when possible.

    Please note that your session date and time are only officially confirmed once your retainer has been paid.

  • Great question, wardrobe is often the trickiest part of booking a session.

    I recommend choosing a cohesive colour palette and coordinating around it (but not matching). Please avoid having everyone wear the exact same colour, and try not to dress the entire family in all white or all black.

    For example, if you’re wearing denim jeans with a grey sweater and a burgundy scarf, your child could wear burgundy pants with a plaid top that pulls in the grey from your sweater. The goal is balance and visual interest.

    I always suggest choosing your outfit first, then building the rest of your family’s looks around it.
