Only when absolutely necessary. I prefer to work alone and steer couples towards this decision whenever possible. My style gives me the flexibility to take a range of shots without additional support. However, there are situations in which an additional photographer is needed. For example, when the bride and groom want the wedding day prep photographed but are in separate locations and time is an issue, a second shooter is required at an additional charge

I provide an average of 50-75 images per hour of coverage. You can expect to see roughly 500 images for a 10 hour wedding day. That being said, I will not hold back any images over the 75 image mark. If there is more, you will get them! I will deliver the images within 4-6 weeks of your wedding date unless otherwise discussed.

Great question, every wedding day is different. There are so many variables that go into the amount of time I will need to photograph your day. Depending on the size of both the families and the bridal party, I like to allow 30-45 minutes for each set of portraits.

Yes, one month before the wedding day we will meet to discuss the smaller details as well as finalize the locations we will be using. I love to location scout with my couples and pick them together.

Embrace it. That is my biggest piece of advice for all my couples planning a wedding. The weather here is so unpredictable and can change every ten minutes. I carry clear bubble umbrellas with me for my clients to use and I love shooting in the elements. We will discuss a back up indoor location in the event the weather is too treacherous to be outdoors.

I will email a pre-wedding day questionnaire four weeks before the wedding date. This allows me to know exactly when and where I need to be, special requests and a detailed family portrait list. Once I receive this, I will make a rough timeline, make any changes and we will meet to discuss. We will also scout locations if needed.

I am a HUGE fan of engagement sessions. It allows you to get comfortable with each other in front of the camera, as well as allows me to see how you flow together as a couple. Engagement sessions are what I call an “icebreaker” for you both. I recommend an engagement session with the photographer who is also photographing your wedding day.
