From your father’s old tie sewn into the lining of your gown, to the lingering hug your best friend gives you on the morning of your wedding day. The tear that falls when they see you walking down the aisle. The way you lean your heads together during the toasts. This day is about so much more than the flowers or the shoes you choose. It’s about celebrating the beginning of a new family. It’s an honour to be trusted with such a meaningful day, and I would be honoured to be part of yours.

Intimate Wedding & Elopement FAQ

Only when absolutely necessary. In certain situations, an additional photographer may be required. For example, if wedding day preparations are taking place in separate locations and the timeline does not allow for travel between them, a second shooter will be added at an additional cost.

On average, I deliver 50–75 images per hour of coverage. For a 10-hour wedding day, you can expect approximately 500 final images.
That said, I don’t cap your gallery. If your day results in more than that range, you’ll receive every image that meets my standards.
Final galleries are delivered within 4–6 weeks of your wedding date, unless otherwise discussed.

Great question, every wedding day is unique. There are several factors that determine how much time is needed for portraits, including the size of your families and bridal party.
As a general guideline, I recommend allowing 30–45 minutes for each set of portraits to ensure we have time to move comfortably and capture everything intentionally.

Yes. About one month before your wedding day, we’ll meet to go over the finer details and finalize the locations we’ll be using.
I love scouting locations with my couples - choosing them together ensures they feel meaningful, intentional, and aligned with your vision.
-
Embrace it. That’s truly my biggest piece of advice when it comes to wedding day weather.
The weather here can be unpredictable and shift quickly, sometimes within minutes. I always come prepared with clear bubble umbrellas for my couples, and I genuinely love photographing in the elements. Wind, rain, moody skies - they create magic.
That said, we will always discuss a backup indoor location in advance, just in case the conditions become too severe to safely be outdoors.

Four weeks before your wedding date, I’ll send over a detailed pre-wedding questionnaire. This helps me understand exactly when and where I need to be, any special requests you may have, and provides a structured family portrait list.
Once completed, I’ll create a rough photography timeline, make any necessary adjustments, and we’ll meet to review everything together. If needed, we’ll also scout and finalize portrait locations at that time.

I am a huge fan of engagement sessions. They give you the opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera and allow me to see how you naturally move and interact as a couple. I often call them an “icebreaker” for your wedding day and by the time your wedding arrives, nothing feels unfamiliar.
I highly recommend booking your engagement session with the same photographer who will be documenting your wedding day.
“We look back on our lives by re-living the special milestones that we have experienced along the way- a marriage proposal, our wedding day or the arrival of a child. There is only one shot at capturing the love and joy we experience during these moments, which is why it is so important to have a photographer you can trust entirely with this task. I can promise you that Miranda is that person. Not only is she an impressively fast shooter but she has a way of capturing the emotions people are feeling in her photos. Looking back on our engagement and wedding photos, we are able to experience the love and happiness we felt during these moments anytime we want. As time goes on and memories fade, we look back to these photographs to remind us of these precious days. With Miranda, you will not be disappointed with the quality and attention to detail she puts into her work. She makes the greatest days of your life, come to life. ”
