Nathan + Rebecca Kananaskis Engagement

Some sessions just feel light and easy from the beginning, and Nathan and Rebecca’s engagement session in Kananaskis was exactly that.

We met on a summer evening surrounded by mountains, soft light, and that classic Kananaskis landscape that makes everything slow down a little. No pressure, just the two of them hanging out together while I played third wheel - classic Miranda.

Nathan and Rebecca are the kind of couple who don’t need much direction. They laugh easily, settle into each other naturally, and made my job incredibly simple. Those are always my favourite sessions. Laid back, genuine, and focused more on the moments than the poses.

The best part? They’re getting married next August at one of my absolute dream venues to photograph at, which makes me even more excited to be part of their story. After spending this evening with them, I already know their wedding day will be full of the same relaxed energy and effortless joy.
