Wild Prairie Honey Business Branding
This may be one of the most fascinating blog post you will come across on my website. And a new found love for me. HONEY BEES!
Jen from Wild Prairie Honey and I quickly became instagram friends, chatting back and forth since the winter. I instantly fell in love with her page because of the informative content of how insanely cool honey bees are and the whole process that comes with them. I got my hands on her honey, and I will never be the same again. Because WOW, it was unbelievably delicious.
Once night I messaged Jen asking if she is ever looking for places to have her bees because I would love to have them, but don’t know the first thing about beekeeping. So it seemed like a good way to see if I would even like having bees in our yard. With some back and forth, we came to the decision that her bees would have hives in my garden. 4 hives, for a total off 40,000 bees to start with. Well the bees arrived last weekend and I photographed Jen setting up the hives. I was literally mind blown at the process and getting to see 40,000 bees up close and personal. Jen tucked the bee boxes in the back of the garden and they are the cutest things. I smile every time I see them.
These bees will be the most photographed bees in the world but also the happiest because I planted so many flowers just for them to love on! Which I have included a few photographs below of some of my yard blooms the bees have been polinating. Here are a few of the cool shots I took last Saturday. I am so thankful for Jen who has been to gracious to answer a million questions and teach me all the cool things that come with bees. Her knowledge is intensive and her love for bees is so evident. I also may or may not have bought both my boys bee suits so they can see the bees a little closer next time she does a hive check!
