Rebecca + Nathan Coutt’s Centre Wedding

Some wedding days just stick with you, and Rebecca and Nathan’s was one of those days.

This is genuinely one of my favourite wedding days I’ve photographed. Not because everything was perfectly polished, but because the whole day just felt good. The kind of wedding where you could settle in, look around, and think, yeah, this is exactly how a wedding day should feel.

My first time shooting at the beautiful Coutts Centre in the Alberta prairies, the location was pretty hard to beat. The gardens were in full form, with little tucked-away corners that made every part of the property feel different. There is something pretty special about getting married out in the middle of the prairies, where there isn't much around to compete with the horizon.

Rebecca and Nathan were just incredibly easy to photograph. Their day was full of the moments I love most. The laughs, the hugs, the people they wanted beside them, and all the little moments that happened without anyone stopping to pose for them.

There was plenty of beauty in the details, but it was the feeling of the day that made it memorable. The gardens. The prairie landscape. The dark sky and strings of lights. Their people. The way everyone seemed completely present and happy to be there. It was one of those weddings that reminded me exactly why I love what I do.

Here are some of my favourite moments from Rebecca and Nathan's beautiful day at Coutts Centre.
