Kaitlyn + Aaron Downtown Calgary Princeton Wedding

There’s something about a downtown Calgary wedding that I’ll never get tired of. The city, the architecture, the little pockets of greenery, the movement and energy of downtown and then, tucked right into the middle of it all, a wedding day that feels completely personal.

Kaitlyn and Aaron’s wedding at The Princeton was exactly that.

Their day was intimate, relaxed and full of the people who mattered most. It was the kind of wedding day where the focus wasn’t on putting on a show, but on actually being present for it. Lots of laughs, lots of emotion, beautiful little details and plenty of time spent together. And don’t get me started on how beautiful their first look was.

Kaitlyn and Aaron's wedding was such a beautiful reminder of why I love photographing intimate weddings. You don't need a huge guest list or an elaborate production to have a day that feels incredibly meaningful. Sometimes it's simply about gathering your favourite people, getting married, celebrating together and soaking it all in.

I'm so grateful I got to document this one and on the best wedding date ever (August 8th - my wedding anniversary).
