A LABOUR OF LOVE. MY MOST EXCITING PROJECT YET.
Well, WE DID IT! My biggest project yet! *Insert confetti and champagne poppin’. We officially re-branded my entire business and built a whole new website all in 4 months working alongside the talented Janna of Jae Rae Creative. As most of you have already seen in Fall of 2021, my rebrand went live and you all loved it as much as I do. I am obsessed if I am being completely honest. We kept the foundations of my business but gave it a giant facelift filled with all things Miranda. Because at the end of the day, I don’t have a product to sell, just a service to provide and my brand is all me. I went from having a full black and white brand to subtle hints of colour and accents to compliment my photography style and me. As you scroll through my NEW site you will find the little touches from my brand come out. I am so excited for you to spend some time browsing around. But first, let me RAVE about Janna. I cannot say enough about working with her. Wow. Her talent. Her expertise. Her devotion. Her knowledge. Her creativity. I am so dang thankful for her and all her handwork and love she has poured into my brand, website and business.
This colour pallet makes me giddy. I love it and if you couldn’t tell by now, the camel colour is by far my favourite touch on this site.
Below, you will see a few of my favourite parts of my rebrand. My instagram icons are everything I ever dreamed of. I actually printed a 16x20 print of the icon wallpaper to hang in my house I love it so much. Every one of those hand drawn icons (AMAZING, AM I RIGHT?!?) represents me and what I love or stand for. Each of them tells a story and part of my purpose.
Now, let’s get to the newly exciting stuff. My ALL NEW WEBSITE! I have been wanting to do this project for so so so long. My old website needed some serious TLC and I put it off forever. I gave-up updating it, or even attempting to learn to make it better because it was not user friendly at all. Or maybe I’m not tech savvy enough. It served it’s purpose. It paved its way for me to get here today. But. 10 years later, WOW am I happy to have this new space to share with you all. This project took a solid 6 weeks. Janna and I both spent hours and hours and many late nights working on this. I don’t think I’ve ever texted or voice chatted someone so much. We made many edits and modifications to get where we are now. And I couldn’t be happier.
It took me so long to strategically place the images. And there are hundreds on here. I worked into the early morning hours many times sifting through past galleries finding the perfect images. Re-editing old work. Reminiscing through all the amazing clients I have had the opportunity to work with through out the years. *Cue tears. I also used to blog weekly before I had children. Some pretty heartfelt words. So many blogs filled with trip highlights and many memories. Luckily, we moved all of those over so I did not have to lose them. So if you had a favourite blog or recipe I shared from years past, you are in luck. It likely made the transfer over. Yay!
The best part of this site is that I have a whole secret section that I have for client resources. If you are a client of mine, you will receive access to a link to sign a agreement or fill your questionnaires out. Yay for no more pen to paper to scanner to email contracts. Finally entering into 2022 business practices.
