Quinn + Dylan Downtown YYC Wedding

Although I am in the thick of wedding season, I am trying to make it my goal to blog at least a couple weddings so I don’t get insanely far behind and just never do it. Quinn + Dylan were the first wedding to start off my busy season this summer and this wedding did not disappoint. Wow, I loved every moment of it. Every detail was thoroughly thought out and the day was seamless start to finish.

Dylan + Quinn were actually the winners of a couples giveaway I did a few years ago and I loved photographing them. When they booked me for their wedding I was so excited because I knew how strong their connection was together and photographing them is a dream.

Dylan + Quinn were married at Venue 308 downtown Calgary with their closest friends and family. The week before their wedding was constant rain and during their indoor ceremony, I looked outdoors to see a torrential downpour which is a little stressful as a wedding photographer who has a certain timeline to follow. Well, we lucked out and the rain stopped immediately following the ceremony and we ended up with the more gorgeous sky for their city skyline portraits. They popped confetti and champagne and celebrated with their best friends. Her sisters and mom surprised her with a song followed by playing their fiddles and Quinn didn’t miss the opportunity to play with them. It was so special. I may have had tears in my eyes. So sweet. It really was the best day ever.
