This room was so much fun to design and decorate. We moved Weston out of this room and gave him the bigger bedroom next door. I contemplated painting that dark feature wall, but when I decided on the nursery theme I decided to leave it because it fit with the color scheme so well!
Arizona is basically our second home and we LOVE the desert so much. So much that we decided to bring the desert to our home and give baby 2.0’s room a boho desert theme. I absolutely love the way everything turned out and couldn’t be happier. I mixed a lot of different patterns, textures, succulents and cactus (all faux – don’t worry people) and boho colours into the theme.
My mom made baby his own macrame antler wall hanging – isn’t she so talented? I seriously didn’t even know she knew how to macrame and now I’m obsessed with everything she makes!
My favourite small shop, Noshi + Nest made this baby his very own baby nest for sleeping and lounging in. And also his coming home from the hospital outfit! And she also gave me the courage to sew my second baby mobile, which was a labor of love.
I have listed most of the items below and the shops they came from! If I missed anything and you have any questions – let me know! I hope baby loves this room as much as I do one day.
