I can’t believe I haven’t blogged in three months. My life has been absolute craziness, but thats another blog for another day. Hopefully not in another three months 🙂
Jason + Michelle’s wedding day was nothing short of perfect. When I met with Jason + Michelle a year ago over dinner at Earls, I knew I wanted to be apart of their special day. The Lake House has always been a dream wedding venue of mine to shoot at and when I saw a teaser of Michelle’s dress I knew I was in for a real treat. Just wait until you see it!!
Jason’s eyes light up when Michelle walks into a room. The connection and bond they share is so heart warming, even on the coldest of winter days. Getting married in February is always SO beautiful but usually SO cold. Michelle was a trooper in -18 weather and got blessed with a snow fall the night before the wedding. Jason waited patiently amongst the woodlands while Michelle walked up behind him slowly. She wrapped her arms around him and they stood there in silence. Taking in the moment before they see either other for the first time before they get married.
First looks hold a special place in my heart. They are so intimate. The look on Jason’s face when he saw his bride was so amazing. His facial expression made me have tears behind my camera. He stood there and looked at her. She was the most stunning bride. He twirled her around so he could see the beautiful dress she was wearing.
Thank you so much Jason + Michelle for choosing me to capture this time in your life. You two are the kindest, and I’m so grateful to not only call you my clients but also call you my friends. Congratulations + heres to the next 50 years of your life together <3
Words from the Bride + Groom
“We were absolutely thrilled to have Miranda do our engagement photos and Wedding Photos. Our wedding was 2 weeks ago and we already have our photos! All of them are amazing. It was a cold snowy day the day of our wedding and despite the cold Miranda was willing to do what ever it took to get the best picture. Miranda’s assistant photographer Nicole was also fantastic! I would recommend Miranda to anyone looking for wedding/engagement or family photos. I know we will be calling Miranda the next time we need photos.” — February 2017
